A detailed look at your developmental, medical, educational and psychosocial history.
An autism-specific interview (ADI-R or 3Di), alongside questionnaires including the SCQ, SDQ, RCADS and, for those aged 16 and over, the CAT-Q.
Clinical observation using the ADOS-2, to understand social communication, behaviour and overall presentation.
